Calumet Machine is located in Upper Michigan's heart of the Keweenaw Peninsula. Established in 1971 we serve all industrial markets in Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota. We have a full service machine shop from a single repair or prototype to production run quantities of 1000's of parts. Our team of skilled machinists, fabricators and mechanics can handle all of your needs ensuring your product will be done right on time, every time!
Capabilities
Calumet Machine has six Haas CNC Lathes and four Haas CNC Mills along with many manual lathes, boring mills and Bridgeport mills. Our large overhead bridge cranes can handle parts up to 10 tons. We stock a wide variety of materials in our storeroom for quick reliable service.
Our welders are certified in multiple different welding types and materials. They use arc MIG, TIG Subarc, Brazing and Silver Solder on a daily basis, joining or rebuilding areas on all types of metals including mild steel, AR plate, T-1 plate, cast iron, stainless steel, brass and bronze.
We have full time salesmen covering the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota. They are available to service your area as often as needed to provide you with the customer service you deserve.
Calumet Machine also delivers with our own trucks to better meet the demands of our customers. Trucks are out daily, as we are committed to making it easier for you to get your projects done right the first time - ON TIME, EVERY TIME!
